Rently is making it easy for property managers, owners, and operators to deploy the most secure self-guided tours in the industry. We have expanded our single family Self-Guided Touring platform to integrate with CodeBox digital lockboxes.

Our customers are now able to BYOB, or “bring your own box”, meaning they no longer have to buy new hardware to enable self-guided tours — instead, they can use their existing CodeBoxes to get started.

CodeBox is a popular digital lockbox provider, with code generation technology that allows for years of unique codes. In a recent Rently survey among 1,700 property managers, 81% reported that they currently own lockboxes and 72% are using CodeBoxes.

Our Rently Product Team wanted to make sure we were able to offer those customers with CodeBox investments the opportunity to power self-guided tours without worrying about additional hardware. This gives customer full control of their self-showing device inventory and makes it easy to switch to Rently.

As a CodeBox integration partner, Rently can provide touring renters with limited-time codes for CodeBoxes the same way we do for our own lockboxes. Once a customer’s CodeBox account and devices are associated with their Rently service, they can enable their renter leads to tour available properties on their own, at their preferred day and time, sagely and securely. Offering self-guided tours fill vacancies faster, as 83% of prospective renters want to take self-guided tours and 42% prefer to take tours outside of regular business hours.
