Rently has recently released a new product for multifamily and build-to-rent communities—a common area access panel. The panel fully integrates with the Rently Smart Home ecosystem so operators can easily manage access to amenities and other common areas directly from the Rently portal and app.

The Rently Access Panel 3 allows managers to provide secure access to residents, guests, staff, and vendors. Residents are also able to set up durational codes for their guests that expire after a set period of time. This feature provides streamlined access for delivery services and friends and family. Managers still have full oversight with a complete activity log available in the manager portal and app.

Managers can also control access by setting customizable access hours. This feature is great for managing access to amenity spaces.

The panel conveniently has three ways for users to unlock it—via fob, app, and code. This ensures that users will still be able to enter even if they forgot their keys or their code.

Rently Access Panel 3 is great for operators who want to manage all of their access solutions with one single platform. No additional app or program is required. It’s also a simple, one-step process when new residents move in. Inviting them to Rently grants them access to the smart home devices in their unit, as well as to the common area access panels installed at the community.
